Obstetric Care:
Dr O’Shea provides personal and expert care to see you through your pregnancy and to help you achieve the best possible outcomes for you and your baby. As your pregnancy progresses, Dr O’Shea will give you information and guidance so you will feel confident and ready for the exciting changes happening as your baby grows and in preparation for the birth.
Dr O’Shea will help you explore your birth options and will help you achieve your birth goals wherever possible, safely, whether this is an active birth with minimal medical intervention, or a planned or emergency caesarean delivery.
Gynaecology:
Dr O’Shea will listen carefully to your symptoms and provide support and guidance. Conditions that Dr O’Shea can provide advice and treatment for include abnormal cervical screening tests and HPV of the cervix; painful, or heavy periods, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, teenage gynaecology, hormonal irregularity, polycystic ovaries, pelvic floor weakness and trauma: lumps and bumps and skin conditions in the pelvic area. Menopause advice and management is also offered.
Management options will be considered carefully. If surgery is required, Dr O’Shea will discuss the modes of treatment available and has expertise in Minimally Invasive Surgery, MIS, and Laparoscopic Surgery as well as general surgery for benign gynaecological conditions.
